INDOPOSCO.ID – A special investigative team from Indonesia’s Attorney General’s Office (AGO) searched a house belonging to suspect and former Director of Special Crimes Prosecutions (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta on Friday (July 31, 2026).
Anang Supriatna, Head of the AGO’s Legal Information Center, said the search was conducted between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
“The Attorney General’s Office, through the special investigative team, carried out an investigative search at the residence of suspect FA, located at Jalan Radio I No. 15, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta,” Anang said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday (Aug. 1, 2026).
He added that, in accordance with Indonesia’s Criminal Procedure Code, investigators will seek court approval from the Corruption Court to authorize the seizure of the confiscated items. The materials will later be analyzed and may be used as evidence to support the case being developed by investigators.
“During the search, investigators seized documents related to the alleged offense of money laundering,” Anang said.
According to Anang, the investigation will continue to be conducted professionally, transparently, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Former Director of Special Crimes Prosecutions Febrie Adriansyah has been named a suspect in an investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering. He has been held at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detention facility since July 24, 2026.(dan)
