INDOPOSCO.ID – Traffic flow along the Cikopo–Palimanan Toll Road was observed to increase, dominated by minibus-type vehicles on D-6 ahead of Eid, Sunday (March 15, 2026).
Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications Department Head of Astra Tol Cipali, Ardam Rafif Trisilo, said in a statement in Subang Regency on Sunday that from 12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. WIB, around 24,000 vehicles were recorded passing through the Cipali Toll Road from Cikopo toward Cirebon.
The traffic volume increased by 16.8 percent compared with the same period the previous day. Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, around 7,000 vehicles were recorded traveling from Cirebon toward Jakarta.
Overall, Astra Tol Cipali recorded that traffic volume along the Cipali Toll Road rose by 8.1 percent compared with the same hours the day before.
He said that in support of the government’s program to ensure smooth traffic flow during the annual Eid homecoming period, a 30 percent toll discount has been implemented starting Sunday at 12:00 a.m. WIB until Monday (March 16) at 12:00 a.m. WIB.
The discounted toll applies to motorists making continuous journeys from Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to Kalikangkung Toll Gate in Semarang.
Ardam urged the public to take advantage of the toll discount to plan their homecoming trips earlier.
Motorists are also advised to manage their travel time properly and take a rest if they feel tired or drowsy at rest areas. However, the duration of rest stops is expected to be limited to a maximum of 30 minutes so that other road users can also use the facilities.
In addition, motorists may use facilities outside the toll road by exiting through the nearest toll gate and re-entering without additional charges, as the Trans-Java Toll Road uses a closed transaction system.
